Why out of network?
At OT Works, we are committed to delivering exceptional care, but we believe transparency is the first step to building trust. Currently, we are out-of-network for all medical insurances and operate on a cash-pay basis. This decision, while temporary, reflects the realities of navigating today’s healthcare landscape.
We are working tirelessly to secure fair contracts that will allow us to become in-network with Medicaid, Tri-Care, and private insurance providers. However, we also want to be candid about the challenges the healthcare system faces. As the cost of education and healthcare delivery continues to rise, insurance companies are cutting reimbursement rates year after year. This imbalance is putting immense pressure on providers, reducing treatment options, and straining an already underfunded system.
For healthcare providers, the hurdles are growing: limited resources, inflation, staff shortages, burdensome and excessive insurance administrative tasks, lengthy appeals processes, delayed payments, all amounting to delays in timely care for patients. To add to the complexity, insurance companies are increasingly attempting to influence treatment decisions, further complicating the care experience.
At OT Works, we refuse to compromise on the quality of care. Our focus remains on empowering our clients with effective, compassionate, and individualized treatment. While we continue to advocate for a more equitable healthcare system, we promise to stand firm as your advocate, delivering care on your terms—not dictated by corporate policies.
